Point your Book buttons at your booking page
Most customers find you on Google, Facebook, Instagram or Bing and tap the Book button there. Change the link behind each button to your Appoint Me booking page and they land straight on it.
When you would use it
Use this on the day you move from another booking system, or the first time you put your booking page online. It takes a few minutes per place and nothing else changes for your customers.
How to set it up
- Open Overview and, under Your booking page, select Copy link. This is the link you paste everywhere below. With more than one location, use each location's own link from Locations (Copy booking link).
- Google: sign in to the Google account that manages your Business Profile and search for your business. On Google Search select Bookings; on Google Maps select Edit profile, then Bookings. Remove your old booking system's link, select Add link, paste yours and save. Google can take up to a day to show it.
- If your old booking system put its own Book button on Google, turn that connection off in the old system as well, or Google keeps offering it next to yours.
- Facebook: on your Page, edit the action button under the cover photo. Choose Book now if it lets you add a website link, otherwise Learn more or Contact us, and paste your link.
- Instagram: select Edit profile, then Links, and replace your old booking link with yours. Instagram's own Book now button only connects to its partner apps, so the link in your profile is the one to use. Add a line to your bio such as "Book through the link below".
- Bing: sign in to Bing Places for Business, open your listing and put your booking link in its website or booking link field. Then change the Book button on your own website, your WhatsApp Business profile and your email signature too.
What your customers see
Customers tap the same Book button in the same place as before, and it now opens your booking page. Bookings already made in your old system stay there, so keep it open until those appointments have passed or move them across first.
