Getting started
Your first day: what to set up, in what order.
Your booking page
The page your customers book on, and how to make it yours.
The Diary
Your day at a glance, and how to book, move and take walk-ins.
Services and pricing
What customers can book, how long it takes and what it costs.
-
Services and prices
Services are what customers book. Each one has a duration and a price, and can have several options, such as a short and a long version.
-
Add-ons and promo codes
Add-ons are extras a customer can add to a service, each with its own time and price. Promo codes take a percentage or a fixed amount off a booking.
-
Visits to the customer
For work done at the customer's address, Appoint Me asks for their address when they book and keeps the travel time to them free in the Diary.
Payments
Deposits, saved cards, paying in full, gift cards and session packs.
-
Deposits
A deposit is part of the price that customers pay by card when they book. The booking is confirmed once it is paid, and the money goes to your own Stripe account.
-
Card holds and no-show fees
With a no-show fee set, customers who book online save a card. Nothing is charged unless they miss the appointment without cancelling and you choose to charge the fee.
-
Paying in full online
Customers can choose to pay the whole price by card when they book, so there is nothing left to pay at the appointment.
-
Gift cards
Sell gift cards from your booking page, or issue them yourself. Each card has a code and a balance that its holder uses to pay the deposit for a booking.
-
Session packs
A session pack is a set number of sessions of one service for one price. Customers book each session with their pack, with nothing more to pay.
-
Tips by card
Customers can leave a tip by card after a completed appointment. The tip goes straight to your own Stripe account, and Appoint Me takes nothing.
Customers
Your client list, forms, booking rules, the waitlist, walk-ins and repeat visits.
-
Your client list
The client list shows everyone who has booked with you, built automatically from your bookings, with their visits, spending and your private notes.
-
Forms and consent
Forms collect the answers and signature you need for an appointment, such as health questions or consent. You attach a form to services, and customers fill it in online after booking.
-
Rules before booking
Rules decide who can book what: a service can require an earlier visit, bookings can wait for your approval, and a cancellation window stops late changes online.
-
Waitlist
When a day is fully booked, customers can join the waitlist for it. If an appointment is then cancelled, the person who has waited longest is emailed straight away.
-
Walk-in queue
A walk-in queue lets customers who arrive without an appointment scan a QR code, join the queue and follow their place on their own phone. You start them from the Diary.
-
Recurring bookings
Book a series of visits on the same day and at the same time every week, or every few weeks, in one go. Each date is checked first, and the customer receives one email with every date.
Staff and hours
The people who do the work, when they work and their time off.
Texts, emails and reminders
What is sent to your customers, and what is sent to you.
Reports
Your bookings, revenue and regulars, in figures.
-
Reports
Reports show your bookings, revenue, new and returning customers, no-show rate and each person's figures, for any range of dates.
-
Tracking links and referrals
Tracking links show which of the places you share your booking page brings in bookings. Your referral link earns you credit when another business joins.
Settings
Locations, opening hours, rooms and closed days.
-
AI receptionist
Connect the AI call service you have chosen to Appoint Me, so it can read your services, prices and free times and book appointments for callers.
-
Locations, rooms and closures
Settings cover where and when you work: each location's address and opening hours, your rooms, and the days you are closed.
