What you'd actually pay
The monthly fee is only part of the price. Some providers also take a share of the first booking from each new client their marketplace sends you. We charge one flat fee and take nothing from your bookings.
All prices are what you would pay in total, including VAT where the provider charges it.

A commission is a percentage, which is hard to picture. These are the same percentages turned into a monthly bill, using the published rates above. Both assume every new client found you through the provider’s marketplace (on Booksy, with Boost turned on); clients who book through your own link cost no commission on any of them. The second one is a cheaper service on purpose — a cut of a £20 haircut costs a lot less than a cut of a £72.50 treatment, so the gap narrows.
A four-therapist spa
- 4 people
- £72.50 average
- 11 new clients a month
- £797.50 first-visit revenue
A three-chair barbershop
- 3 people
- £20 average
- 25 new clients a month
- £500 first-visit revenue
Every bill includes VAT where the provider charges it. Arithmetic on each provider's published rate, not a quote — your own numbers will differ, and card-processing fees are on top everywhere. The point isn't the exact figure: it's that a commission bill grows every time you win a client, and a flat fee doesn't.
Every figure above is each provider's own published price, read from their own pricing page on 18 October 2026. Prices change and vary by country — please check theirs before deciding. Card-processing fees are extra on most platforms, including ours where you take deposits. Where a page quotes a price without VAT, we have added VAT at 20% and show the figure from their page with it.
How we price
Appoint Me is made by GK Tools Ltd, a UK software company with several products. We charge one flat price: £50 a month, plus £40 for each extra location, with unlimited staff. It is set to cover what the service really costs: running it, our corporation tax and a fair profit. That is why there is no free plan for us to take away later, and no need to earn from your clients through a marketplace or a commission on your bookings.
Some booking systems that were once free have since started charging.
How prices have changed
Dated changes to prices, from each provider’s own pricing page or notice, with an archived copy linked for each. Amounts are given only where the page showed UK prices. Rises, cuts and prices that stayed the same are all shown, and our own changes are listed too.
