Visits to the customer
For work done at the customer's address, Appoint Me asks for their address when they book and keeps the travel time to them free in the Diary.
When you would use it
Use it if you go to your customers: mobile hairdressing, dog grooming, home tutoring, repairs or treatments at home.
How to set it up
- Open Locations and choose the location's address from the suggestions, so journeys can be timed from it.
- Under Visits to customers, set the Average travel speed (km/h), the Parking and setting up (minutes) and, if you wish, the Furthest distance (km).
- Open each service you do at the customer's address under Services and turn on Done at the customer's address.
- In Diary, the time kept for each journey is shown as a band before the visit.
- If you work from home and customers come to you instead, turn on Keep my street address private on the location, so customers see only your town until they have booked.
What your customers see
Customers enter their address when they book a visit, choosing it from the suggestions. Only times that leave room for the journey are offered, and a customer who lives further away than you travel is told so before they book.
