Services and prices

When you would use it

Set them up before you share your booking page, and return whenever you change a price or add something new.

How to set it up

1. Open Services and add a service. For a head start, use Start from an example to add a set of example services for your kind of business, then edit them.
2. Under Details, enter the Name and Description, and add a Photo. Leave Location blank to offer it at every location.
3. Under Pricing & duration, set the Duration and the Price. Use Add another option for other lengths of the same service, each with its own Option name.
4. Under Availability & listing, add a Buffer after if you need time to clear up afterwards, and choose a Category to group services on your booking page.
5. If the person is free in the middle of the appointment, for example while a colour develops, set Free time inside. They can then see someone else during that time.
6. On the service's Who does this tab, choose who can do it.
7. If someone charges more or less than the listed price, open them under Practitioners, go to Services & pricing and set a Price adjustment, such as plus 10 or minus 5. It applies to every option of that service.

What your customers see

Customers see each active service with its price, duration, photos and description, grouped by category. If a service has options, they choose one before picking a time. Customers see the real finish time of the appointment: a buffer simply keeps the next slot free.

Examples from different trades

• Personal trainerOffer 30-minute and 60-minute sessions as two options of one service, and add a 10-minute buffer to reset the equipment.
• Driving instructorList a one-hour lesson, a two-hour lesson and a mock test, and give a senior instructor a price adjustment of plus 5.
• HairdresserUse free time inside a colour appointment so the same hairdresser can cut someone else while the colour develops.
